Seniors Wednesday Drop-Ins - Central Okanagan

Offers a drop-in group for seniors (adults 55+) within the church and community, every Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Sep-Jun). This group provides opportunities to build friendships and play board games.
- A healthy soup and sandwich lunch is prepared by a team of kitchen volunteers each week. The cost is $4.00.
- Regularly features musical groups and soloists from across the Kelowna area, many of who are also senior adults
- Offers educational or information workshops of interest to senior adults on some Wednesdays
- Special programs or worship services are offered at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's and Easter
- The Salvation Army makes every effort to keep connected with and care for Drop-In attendees who become sick or shut-in through telephone calls, e-mails or personal visits to homes and hospitals and also regularly visits past members who are no longer able to attend due to ill health.
